This training is designed for educators who want to master the art of creating powerful problems and scenarios for Problem-Based Learning. Participants explore what truly makes a problem effective, revisit and refine their own conceptions of scenario design, and learn how to redesign existing tasks to better support problem-solving learning. Through guided reflection and hands-on practice, teachers gain the skills and confidence to design meaningful, well-structured PBL problems that promote deeper learning and student engagement.
This three-module training helps educators strengthen their approach to teaching and integrating generic (soft) skills into their courses. Across the modules, participants explore key concepts related to critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and learner autonomy; examine how generic skills develop within real teaching contexts; and learn practical strategies for embedding these skills into subject-specific tasks. Through discussions, reflection, and hands-on redesign activities, teachers leave with clearer frameworks, improved task design skills, and actionable methods to foster essential competencies in their students.
